The ENT Interest Group will be hosting a lunch talk on Wednesday, April 25th from 12-1pm in room 3114.
The field of ENT is an incredibly diverse speciality, that includes allergy, facial plastic and reconstructive surgery, head and neck oncology, laryngology, otology/neurotology, pediatric otolaryngology, rhinology, and more!
To highlight this fact we are inviting two of the newest and most exciting ENT faculty members here at the U of A to speak to you about the field and their interests within it:
- Dr. Shethal Bearelly is a Head and Neck Oncologic, Cranial Base, and Microvascular Reconstructive Surgeon. He attended medical school at Boston University, residency at UCSF, and fellowship at Vanderbilt. His primary clinical interests include head and neck mucosal malignancies, cutaneous malignancies, thyroid and parathyroid surgery, robotic surgery, and microvascular reconstructive surgery.
- Dr. Jonathan Young is a Pediatric Otolaryngologist. He attended medical school at UC Davis, residency at VCU, and fellowship at Children's Hospital of Colorado in Denver. His primary clinical interests include congenital craniofacial syndromes, cochlear implants, velopharyngeal insuficiency, cleft lip/palate repair, mandibular distractions, airway reconstruction, and vascular malformations.
Mark my words, this will be the coolest lunch talk of 2018! You won't want to miss it! (Plus, food will be provided.)
