Come get some hands-on training!
Dr. Berkman will be conducting a skills session on the Focused Assessment with Sonography for Trauma (FAST) exam, commonly performed in emergency departments to rapidly evaluate for vital organ damage after blunt and pentrating trauma. If you have any interest in learning more about ultrasound and/or in practicing your skills with an ultrasound probe, you should definitely attend. This is a high yield skill to have prior to starting clerkships!
Please meet at the ambulance bay at Banner UMC-South Campus at 5:25 pm and walk to the ED together.
Signups will be limited to 10 for this session. Must be an EMIG member to sign up.
If you signup and can no longer attend, you must find a replacement.
