Come learn about the OR and how to properly scrub in for surgery! 

DON'T FORGET TO:

Wear clothes that you are able to put paper scrubs over
Wear closed-toed shoes
Bring your hospital name badge

Please do not bring backpacks or any other belongings. You will not be allowed to take these into the OR. Please arrive 10 minutes before your designated time and meet infront of the Health Sciences Library. We will walk down to the OR together!

Come join the Student Interest Group in Neurology (SIGN) as well learn how to perform lumbar punctures (LP) with Dr. Kendra Drake, Associate Professor of Neurology and Neurology Residency Program Director. Dr. Drake and residents will lead small groups of students through LP simulations in the ASTEC lab. Please read/watch the following NEJM article and video in preparation for the lab. Max of 8 students per session. Two sessions, Monday 5/15 and Tuesday 5/16 at noon.
